Aromas  ranging from fruity to spicy. Tannins present, but tamed. Fresh and mineral wine. 12 months of bottle aging. Total destemming followed by pre-fermentative maceration at 8ºC. Subsequent fermentation in a conical vat at a controlled temperature of 24ºC.

Elaborated from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Castelão, Syrah and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, it resulted in a complex wine with intense garnet colour, in which stand out the aromas of black fruit with spicy and balsamic notes, which came from this especific blend of varieties and their ageing on french oak barrels. Fresh and intense, with firm tannins, allowing a longstanding finish.

Quinta da Boa Esperança – Syrah

Very intense garnet colored wine, with citric and floral nuances. Very vivid and structured on the palate, through its freshness and richness in tannins, resulting in a long and harmonious finish.

10% of the batch fermented in new barrels for 18 months plus 12 months aging in bottles.

Harvest: 100% manual into 15 Kg cases.

Very intense garnet colored wine, with citrus and floral nuances. Vibrant and structured on the palate, due to its freshness and richness in tannins.

Total destemed followed by pre-fermentative maceration at 8ºC. Followed by fermentation in lagar at temperature controlled at 24ºC

10% of the batch aged in French oak barrels during 18 months. Aged in bottle for 12 months.

Grapes: Touriga Nacional.
Harvest: 100% manual into 15 Kg cases.

Intense garnet colored wine, nearly opaque, with prevaling notes of black fruit with balsamic nuances. Vibrant and volumous.

Quinta da Boa Esperança – Reserva Red

Aromas of black fruit, with spicy and smoked notes. Fresh, intense and structured in the mouth, with firm tannins.

Total destemming followed by pre-fermentation maceration at 8ºC. Subsequent fermentation in wine press with controlled temperature at 24°C. The varieties were vinified separately. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Aged for 18 months in bottle.

Characteristics of the harvest year: Hot and dry year, mainly during the ripening phase of the grape.

Consumption Interval: immediately up to 15/20 years.
